Living life at its very best
Never too early to start living life at its very best! Ready ? start now
Are You Living Your Life at Its Very Best?
Are we truly living our life at its very best… or merely existing?
This is one of the most important questions a human being can ask.
In the 1980s, the field of positive psychology identified a specific state in which people experience what researchers call optimal experience: a state where individuals simultaneously achieve:
-
DEEP satisfaction
-
PEAK performance
-
MEANINGFUL contribution
When we regularly experience this state, it is a strong indicator that we are living life close to its fullest potential. Conversely, when we rarely or never experience it, this is also a clear signal, we are not yet living life at its very best !
The Tragic Reality
Sadly, most people never experience this state in a sustained way.
Many reach the end of their lives with a painful realization: they did not truly live the life they wanted to live, but instead lived the life others expected from them.
This regret is consistently reported as the number one regret expressed by human beings at the end of life.
This reality is heartbreaking…and the fact that so many people share this regret shows how easy it is to fall into this trap.
A Different Path Is Possible
If we do not want to end our lives with the same regret, we must:
-
understand the fatal mistakes to avoid
-
adopt the proven best practices that lead to the best possible life experience
This requires intention and a willingness to evolve.
